Although not all went as planned on Saturday, one thing is certain, country footy and netball is well and truly back in the North Gippy league!
We smashed the gate, bar and canteen taking records for a home game by a country mile! What looked like a finals game, both tiers of car parks were full with cars overflowing out the front gate. A full grandstand, saw Macca and Rooster flat out behind the bar all day, with an emergency dash to resupply needed by Ray at the start of the Seniors.
Our canteen team were again excellent, and just managed to keep up with the crowds hunger! A huge thanks goes out to Narelle, Rohan, Kyme and the team.
The social rooms were packed for at least ninety minutes post game, great to see the Churchill players and supporters come in for a chat and a cold drink. Thanks to our bar staff, Sonia, Andrea and Monique for a solid performance behind the bar.
